House Washing
Clean exterior surfaces. Keep property care connected. Armor Exteriors provides house washing in Seneca, Lake Keowee, and Upstate South Carolina, with a cleaning scope based on your home’s surfaces and condition.
Address buildup before it becomes deferred maintenance
Dirt, streaking, and organic buildup can leave exterior surfaces looking neglected. House washing addresses appropriate exterior cleaning needs and provides an opportunity to identify visible conditions that may need repair or further assessment.
Cleaning is one part of protecting a home. If staining returns beneath an overflowing gutter or around an opening, the source of the water also deserves attention.
A cleaning scope based on the home
Tell Armor which surfaces concern you: siding, soffit, fascia, trim, or exterior gutter faces. Surface material, finish, age, visible damage, building height, and access help determine the recommended cleaning approach and agreed scope.
Before work, discuss loose siding, peeling paint, damaged seals, known leaks, delicate finishes, and nearby items that need protection. Cleaning cannot repair rot, failed coatings, damaged siding, or water intrusion. Those conditions may require a separate correction.
What to confirm before service
Confirm which walls and exterior details are included. Gutter interior cleaning, window cleaning, roof debris removal, deck restoration, and repairs are separate service needs to discuss. A house wash should have a clear scope rather than an assumption that every exterior surface is included.
Mention gates, steep ground, limited access, and any water-supply considerations. Ask what preparation is needed for your property, including closed windows and doors and moving personal items from the work area.
How Armor approaches house washing
Assess the surfaces
Review the visible buildup, surface condition, access, and the cleaning you want completed.
Explain the scope
Discuss the surfaces to be cleaned, the approach appropriate to their condition, and any concerns that cleaning alone cannot resolve.
Complete agreed cleaning
Carry out the approved service and document relevant findings or conditions that need additional attention.
Plan ongoing care
Discuss recurring cleaning and related exterior needs when buildup regularly returns. The Armor Property Protection Program can help organize care around your property.
Connect cleaning with water management
Overflowing gutters can leave water and debris along siding and trim. Explore Gutter Cleaning & Flushing or Gutter Repair & Sealing when the source needs attention.
For roof debris or visible flashing and penetration concerns, see Roof Maintenance. For deteriorating finishes, siding, or windows, explore Exterior Restoration and Siding & Windows and request an assessment.
House washing questions
Will washing remove every stain?
Results depend on the material, stain, finish, and condition. Some marks reflect aging, coating failure, or material damage. Armor can discuss what cleaning is intended to address and any concerns that need another approach.
Is gutter cleaning included?
Exterior gutter-face cleaning and clearing debris from inside the gutter are different services. Confirm each item in the agreed scope. If gutters overflow or downspouts are restricted, mention that when requesting service.
Does house washing include window cleaning?
Confirm window cleaning separately. Washing the surrounding exterior does not establish a dedicated window-cleaning scope.
Can you wash a home with damaged siding or a known leak?
Tell Armor about those conditions before service. Damaged materials and water-entry points should be assessed so the cleaning approach and any needed repairs can be discussed.
How often should my house be washed?
Shade, surrounding vegetation, surface material, and the rate of buildup affect the interval. Start with the home’s current condition, then discuss a maintenance schedule suited to the property.
How is pricing determined?
The surfaces included, property size, building height, access, buildup, and condition affect the scope and estimate. Request service with your address and the areas you want cleaned.
